Fredericksburg

We arrived in Fredericksburg by 3 pm, which gave us time for Dianne to settle in to the hotel, and Martha to head for the historic Nimitz Hotel, now home to the National Museum of the Pacific War. With only an hour left before closing, the entrance fee of $14 was waived, and I had an opportunity to learn a little about Admiral Nimitz and his family. His background was remarkable, and his ability to lead others, and forge new solutions to unexpected problems, was well-illustrated. Not having time to see the military machines didn't bother me in the least! 😊
