About an hour outside of Houston, Dianne and sister Joyce talked by phone. Joyce's offer of home-made kibbeh gave us a welcomed opportunity to visit with she and Bill. The corn, cornbread, pork chop, and sausage were unexpected delights. Around 3 pm we headed for our hotel, and liked what we found. For a moment we thought we could upgrade to a suite, but concluded the room we have will be good enough. As "elite customers" Comfort Suites gave us welcome bags of snacks. So, we've settled in now for a few weeks in Houston.
